Our vision is to spark a global movement of healing and hope, where acts of compassion and care ripple outward to create lasting change. By supporting recovery efforts for individuals impacted by trauma and promoting education that nurtures kindness, mindfulness, and respect for the earth, the Shine Foundation seeks to reshape the future. We envision a world where all people feel safe, supported, and inspired to contribute to a society built on love, safety, and mutual respect.

About
The Shine Foundation was founded by Mrs. D. in 2023, and she now serves as Executive Director. In her early years, Mrs. D. grew up in Germany as one of seven children. In the midst of loss and subsequent trauma, her spiritual connections sustained her through difficult times. Early on, she began traveling the world as a backpacker, gathering wisdom from other cultures and backgrounds.
Having faced health challenges throughout her life, Mrs. D. was inspired to help and heal not only herself, but others. After training and becoming certified in a wide range of holistic healing modalities, her passion for supporting people, especially children and teens recovering from trauma, grew even stronger. She was determined to facilitate the recovery and healing journey of survivors, starting with providing financial resources to meet their most basic needs such as food, healthcare, safety and shelter.
Driven by her own story and years of reflection on how to support traumatized individuals, she founded the Shine Foundation. By partnering with global and local organizations, the Foundation strives to create a ripple effect of positive change.

5K RUN THROUGH THE VINEYARD
This event benefits the Shine Foundation, which focuses on empowering individuals, especially children and youth who have experienced physical abuse, trauma, and trafficking, to rebuild their lives with dignity. By partnering with global and local organizations, we strive to create a ripple effect of positive change. The Shine Foundation provides financial resources to facilitate survivors' recovery and healing and meet basic needs such as food, healthcare, and safe shelter.
SURF CAMP
Embark on a surfing adventure with Ocean Outfitters’ Surf Camp, where the Shine Foundation’s participants help raise money for the organization. Experience the joy of learning to surf on the beaches of the Jersey Shore. Join us for an exciting surfing experience while contributing to Shine Foundation’s impactful initiatives. All proceeds go to the Shine Foundation partners.
